The AppNavi application successfully substitutes boring study guides on using different programs and instructors, suggesting engaging interactivity instead. AppNavi eliminates the necessity of hiring a specialist for training new employees, which economizes time and budget.

AppNavi suggests a completely new approach to employee training as well as increases all specialists' work efficiency. However, despite the rather high popularity among the clients, confusing and unoptimized user flows became a real obstacle for the company in attracting new clients. Initially, the problem lied in relatively outdated application design. The AppNavi program looked too complicated and didn’t establish any trust with the users, raising fear that they wouldn’t be able to puzzle it out. Thus, it couldn’t guarantee an increase in clients and in company budget.
Apart from that, the app already had its users who were used to it, which we needed to keep in mind while making new design and changing old software version to the new technology stack.
Apart from implementing new intuitively clear user flows, the front-end challenge was to be able to track user's actions in the tool they are learning and suggest next possible steps, leading the pre-planned route.
On the Back-end the challenge was to create a modular system for route storing that can be edited and expanded.
To follow users’ actions, a full real-time tracking system was implemented, using TypeScript and JavaScript. That allowed us to catch users’ actions and, depending on the screen area that they hover on, suggest them the next action, such as showing tips, clicking on the button or entering some text.
To customize, change and update the routes, we integrated an editing feature, so that the admin can easily edit or add new features, as well as create new routes.
The main features we developed:
Ready-made routes that help the user learn the app step by step
Tooltips. They guide the user through the respective use cases. The main development focus was on reliable object recognition
News. The administrator can create articles for app users
Collections. This feature allows administrators combine relevant content into collections and make them available to their onboarders, such as a learning collection
Editorial process. The admin can define under which circumstances a user can see the content and what this content will be

The collaboration was very creative and professional in every sense. Milestones were quickly developed and pragmatically refined in a swift iterative process. We were very satisfied with the results in every respect and can recommend bandapixels with a clear conscience.
